This summer spread your wings wide ,be ready to follow your dreams and stand apart in the crowd.
Supplies used
An old milk bottle
Gesso and texture sand from our itsy bitsy
Chipboard from itsy bitsy
Chalk paints ,muted teal and whipped sea foam from itsy bitsy
Chipboardfrom itsy bitsy
Immix deco stones and metallic paints
Sculptor Tex from expressions immix for the wings
Took an old glass bottle , covered it with a generous coating of gesso mixed with textured sand to give it grainy textured look.Next took a guaze we get along with veggies and placed it to give a net effect and arranges my embellishments till I was satisfied.Took a plain white cloth bag and drew wings on it and fussy cut it.Dipped it in Sculptor Tex ,wringed it and placed it at the bottle to give the winged effect .Allowed it to dry for 24 hours and then they were ready to work on.Colored the base with muted Teal and the embellishments with whipped sea foam chalk paints .Next used the metallic paints to highlight the embellishments and the wings.Decorated the mouth of the bottle with a variation of deco stones from expressions .Finally added a touch of Alaska glitters from expressions to give it a radiant look.Totally loved the outcome,hope you all enjoyed it too…
